As a huge Buraka Som Sistema fan, I have absolutely NO excuse as to why this one fell beneath the cracks. Their latest single, “Hangover (BaBaBa)” was released in May and is quite the fucking comeback. The song, co-produced with Crunchtime’s Stereotyp, features a hook that originated in a production between DJ Znobia and Angolan MC Nacobeta. The result: awesomeness.
Buraka Som Sistema just announced that they’ve wrapped up recording the follow up to their 2008 full-length LP, Black Diamond, and will be announcing release dates soon. In the meanwhile: bababababababaa.
