@AtomicTom – Take Me Out (iPhone performance)

I can always count on a newspaper from Jakarta, Indonesia (approximately 9,000 miles away) to tell me what’s going on on the B train in my own backyard. Brooklyn’s Atomic Tom have come to the world’s attention for performing one of their songs, “Take Me Out”, on the subway using iPhone apps instead of live instruments. It’s a pretty fun video and another reason to lurve technology. That said, we should mention these boys know how to use real instruments. While cool for a YouTube video, I don’t foresee bands pawning their Fenders and Yamahas for an iPhone anytime soon. So
