Los Angeles electro hip-hop outfit Far East Movement have teamed up with fellow Californian musicians The Cataracs and Dev to create a sure club hit called “Like a G6”.
The Far East Movement, made up of Asian-Americans Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif, and DJ Virman, started in 2003 and has since grown to be a widely respected group in the rap scene. They recently signed a major label deal with Cherrytree Records, a subsidiary label of Interscope Records. “Like a G6” is currently in the top 2 spot on iTunes, making the Far East Movement the first Asian-American act to be listed in both the iTunes and Billboard top 10.
Ahhh. Just the song to wake us up on a Wednesday morning!
