One of my KL peeps Gwen introduced me to the finest thing out of Italy since pizza and Benny Benassi. The Bloody Beetroots, made up of Bobby Rifo and DJ Tommy Tea, are known for wearing Venom masks when they perform and for their crazy ass beats. Currently signed onto Steve Aoki‘s Dim Mak label, the Bloody Beetroots have been building a cult following around the world. For sure the music scene is inundated with electronic music DJs and producers trying to get heard but the Bloody Beetroots live up to the electronic hype.
PS Southeast Asia is getting MAD love from The Bloody Beetroots in the next few weeks. They will be performing on New Year’s Eve in KL (!!!!!!!!), New Year’s Day in Singapore, and 2nd January in Bangkok. If you are in KL and want to herald in the new year with electronic music that’ll make your ears bleed, hit me up.
