This beautiful Sunday has some new music for you. This time it comes from Electronic duo Celadon Candy. Originally conceived as a side project in 2010 of musician Paul Allgood while on hiatus from his main band Wedlock, he teamed up with multi-instrumentalist Jason Bowden to release two EPs (cc: = fwd:) However, the two decided to shelve the side project and part ways until a indie UK label, Trinity Eclipse, took an interest in the music and decided Celadon Candy needed a full length release.

They sent us over some tunes from their new full length, Celadonia, to check out and surprisingly we were liking the darker, electro-pop tunes they made. I can’t help but to feel a nostalgic electronic vibe from all the tracks — they use some classic drum sounds and retro synths that really invoke that old-skool electronic sound similar to NIN or Depeche Mode.

If you want to hear what CeladonCandy has going on, head over to their Jamendo page to check out more songs, you wont be disappointed

enjoY!
