Today’s grind is accompanied by Detroit born and raised producer/artist, Saint Denson. Growing up in Detroit, where an eclectic taste for hip hop in the 80s and 90s lit a fire of passion to become involved for himself, he rose through the industry as a DJ, Emcee and producer who found notable success both as an independent artist and as a collaborator.
With all this experience under his belt he has decided to start his own label, Heavy Records. The first release on this new newly minted label is called The Gift and is primarily a hip hop album, with each track being host to the unique twists and talents of its featured performer — all new artists who are signed to Heavy Records.
Denson sent us over the video to the first single from The Gift called “Bahd Mahn” and it gives us a little insight into what is to come from this hip hop veteran. The track features Widda Wop and Carhyme and has all the markings of a solid hip hop record.
