Fresh up for your weekend adventure is some new music from multi-instrumentalist, Andrew Mancilla. This Brooklyn artist stirs up a blend of pheromones, cocktails and infectious beats that have just the amount of catchiness that will infect your brain. We had a chance to check out this latest outing, Subtractive Color and we were loving the retro-futuristic sound that falls somewhere between the Jackson 5 and Justin Timberlake if they were in a electronic fantasyland.
Catchy beats and delicious synth melodies make his music easily accessible to many different types of music lover. The 10 track album opens up with the self-titled track “Rewire” and just takes off from there with his special blend of R&B, hip-hop, electro-pop and good ol’ fashion fun. The album front to back is constant audio deliciousness that invokes youth, fun, love and excitement.
