Today’s tune brings it down a notch into beautiful territory. The track is called “Naked” and is from American Idol’s Semi-Finalist, Brielle Von Hugel.
After reaching fame with her awesome cover songs on Youtube, this NY Bluesy-pop singer-songwriter signed a recording contract with F.R.E.E.D.O.M. Records in July and released the single thing month.
I was absolutely taken back by this track – here voice is absolutely ridiculous, even more so when it is raw and emotional. She made an excellent choice with a stripped down piano that adds a depth to the song that is only amplified by her sophisticated voice and natural storytelling ability.
I like to think i have a good ear for music, and something tells me Brielle’s got something here and I am excited to see what else she has in store.
