Got some new tunes for you on this hump day from Ashville, North Carolina artist, Bryan Divisions, a producer and lyricist who understands the human consciousness. With a goal to bring others and the world as a whole into balance, this transformational artist creates a moody/dark style of hiphop that has me digging it.
We checked out some of his tracks from his latest album, Shivai, and we liked all of them. The one thing that really stood out for me was his productions. From front to back all his tracks have this dark, downbeat and brooding form to them that is very different from most of the hiphop stuff you hear today. When you put this on top of his narrative of taking the listener on a ride through their subconscious where they can understand their doubts, fears, dreams and desires, you have something that can inspire you.
