New music today comes from Detroit’s Baraka Johnson. This artist has been in the game for the over 10 years slowly crafting his sound. After a 7 year break he has decided to create some new music which now has taken the form of his new EP, In Love with My Museik.
After listening to the EP sampler I knew Baraka had the gift of flow as well as well as why his EP is called what it is. What worked really well with the records on the sampler were the beats he chose to use, they really highlight his lyrical talent and musicianship. I can definitely hear these tracks on Top 40 stations for the simple fact that each track has this way of sticking with you after it’s done.
