Time to take it down a notch with a new tune from folk singer/songwriter, Lily Lambert, This English born artist pursued her musical dream after graduating Law School and moving to NYC where she performed in NY musicals and Off-Broadway production all the while penning her original material. Her debut album, Life of Lily, took home the IMEA award for Folk Album of the Year in 2014 and her sophomore effort, So Far, received the Akademia Award for Best Singer-Songwriter Album, and a Bronze Medal at the Global Music Awards.
Ms. Lambert has breadth of music history running through her that has helped craft an original sound that goes between the ethereal and celestial. A perfect example of this sound is the new single she sent us called “I Forgive You.” The track definitely has her musical theater influences mixed with with some pop song writing that creates a soft sound of innocence.
