A/C is heaven and if you currently enjoying its presence, it’s a great time to check out some new music from Cincinnati artist, DaMar Fairbanks, a.k.a Balenciaga Banks. This up and and coming rapper, often drawing comparisons to De La Soul, aims to set himself apart from all the other Mc’s out there by fusing the gap between the underground hip hop scene and the mainstream.
After releasing his acclaimed mixtape Made and Certified, Banks is back again, this time to change the face of urban music for the better. He just released his new EP, The Last Great Note which is the product of spending the last year traveling while conceptualizing and writing music in cities around the world. With all these experiences in him he found the best medium to display them was to lay them over harmonic bass filled beats which you can hear on his latest single, “Booby Trap.”
