SGF-1 (Super Galactic Funk) is their name, and I’m pretty sure you can figure out what members Poony-K & PJ3 are up to. Take the best dance music of the 70’s and 80’s, mix it up with some jazz and electro, all with production work of today and you get these incredibly funky songs with hooks that get you from the beginning.
SGF1 have released their frist single, “Castor Sugar“, wich features some really cool remixes from G.L.O.V.E.S., Get Stellar and Astrolabe. Check out their funk-disconess below and make sure to pick up the EP which was release last month through Lightspeed Recordings.
