UK group, Stateless, sent us over the first single, “Ariel,” from their forthcoming album, Matilda. For their first release on Ninja Tune Records, Stateless teamed with producer Damian Taylor (Bjork, The Prodigy) to create a more electronic sound for the new album. This is clearly seen with this mysterious and dark dubstep track tinged with a middle eastern samples. It’s sort of worldy, but yet still can translate well on a dancefloor.
Matilda isn’t due for release until February 7th, but in the meantime check out the video to the single as well as the sped up garage-feel remix from Dark Sky.
