So check it, got some fresh new music from Brooklyn Emcee, OnCue (Geoff Sarubb). He released a mixtape last week called Cuey Sings the Blues which we got our hands on today and I have to say, we are digging it here at BBC Headquaters. When you first listen to the mixtape you will notice a similar vibe as guys like Asher Roth, B.O.B, Chiddy Bang, etc, flipping samples of modern rock hits with dope rhymes to create something that is fresh, while keeping a sense of nostalgia for the songs we have come to love.
Make sure to check out his blog/website, and download his mixtape
