Their name is White Apple Tree and new wave indie is their game. (read… indietronica). This So Ca five-piece broke into the music scene in 2008 with their hit single “Snowflakes” that appeared on CW’s Gossip Girl. The guys have passed us their latest single, which they are giving away for free, called “Passed Out.” The track will make it onto the bands upcoming EP, Peach Hat, which will be available for free from Amazon in October.
What I’m loving about “Passed Out” is the watery xylophone stuff going on in the background, combine that with the minimal drum beat and you have a track that gives off a really chill vibe.
