Android Lust is the brainchild of NYC artist, Shikhee. She is fresh off the release of her latest LP titled The Human Animal. With this latest LP Shikhee drew inspiration from her struggles after taking a year break to recoup and find the balance between the life of an artist and the real world. What made this 3rd album different from the rest was that she enlisted her live band into the studio to help her create the sound she was looking for as well as incorporating samples from life in NYC.
The best way to describe Android Lust is dark, electroncia/industrial that is reminiscent of NIN. What is really cool about her is her powerful voice that can go from sweet whispers to down right screaming all with a dark, gritty edge that churns out catchy melodies
Android Lust is set to play Crash Mansion August 21st at Midnight, in the meantime check out a track from The Human Animal titled “God In the Hole”
