The Parlotones are a South African rock group in the same vein as Coldplay, Kings Of Leon etc. They may not be known here, but in their home country and a lot of the world they are. They have preformed during the 2010 FIFA World Cup and Kick-Off Celebration Concert. In 2009, the band embarked on a sold-out, 300-date world tour. They closed out the global tour at the Dome in Johannesburg, writing their own piece of African history by becoming the first South African band to ever headline the venue.
