Hello Y’all, I hope everyone had a great 4th of July Weekend ( or reg weekend if you don’t celebrate that), full of sun, brews and good friends. We start of this new month with a track from David Borkmann, an electronic producer hailing from the west coast of Sweden. While listening to his music you will hear influences of rock and funk which he played as a drummer in his former bands, classical music he played on the piano as a child, and house music that was coming from his Djing older brother’s room. Which ever influence you like the best comes out in his beautiful, smooth productions.
2010 see the release of the Mercury EP, is his debut solo release, coming on the heels of his recent remixes of Eat More Cake, Avatars and The Berndt. You can check out the title track below.
