Caleb Nichols and Jameson Swanagon, the musical force that along with drummer John Pomeroy is Oakland’s Grand Lake, began their musical collaboration in their friendship. Throughout the 15 years they have known each other, the two have met up and parted ways until finally finding each other again in Oakland to start the band. They decided to make some angst-filled art-rock and produce their debut full length, Dead Sea Dream.
The album will be released on August 10th through the Hippies Are Dead Imprint. In the meantime, check out the Anthemic single from that debut, “Spark” below
