Hooooowdy Ho,
So what a crazy hot week it has been in NYC. The mercury never dips below 85 and I have heard it is only gonna get worse as the weekend comes along. Luckily some guy invented the air conditioner and saved humanity, maybe not the power grids, but at least I’m not sweating from head to toe when I’m listening to some tunes. hot hot heat or not, we received a ton of good music as of lately, so much that it is nearly impossible to keep up with it, that is why there are Friday Mixes.
The tracks below are nice all-around flavor of the stuff we get on a daily basis. There is nice new-wave diddy from Ray Dar Vees, a hazy, lo-fi downtempo jam from Room E. Then we have a hip-hop remix of of Metric’s “Help I’m Alive” with NYC’s Metermaids dropping some rhymes over it as well as some upbeat electro tunes from 8-bit/dubstep producer Unicorn Kid and a remix from Danny Genius.
