Sheila Nicholls is a British singer-songwriter who now resides in Los Angeles. Since moving to the US from England, Sheila has performed with NY-based group Splendid Fork, recorded 3 solo albums and started her own label, Essex Girl Records. After she released two albums with Hollywood Records, she decided to lay low and teach her self music production in order to have the creative independence she wanted. That led her to release her latest album, Songs From the Bardo, back in August of ’09. The album’s sound shifts easily from acoustic singer-songwriter to studio trip hop grooves.
