Iowa group, The Nadas, make some sweet indie alt-folk music that is perfect for a Monday morning. Back in March, the group released their seventh album, Almanac, which was quite unique because it was recorded over the last year completely in front of their fans through a live streaming video blog. Besides being able to watch them record, The Nadas incorporated comments and ideas from their fans into their music.
What I dig about The Nadas is that for the most part they got the chillness of any folk band out there, but what makes them a cut above the rest is that they are not afraid to break it down into some big rock songs that will please and rock fan.
