We have talked about Cinnamon Chasers (Russ Davies) in the past. If you don’t remember, you can check out our review of his epic song, “Luv Deluxe” which won best music video at SXSW this year. With SXSW behind them, Mr. Davies is following up with a new EP titled Sunset Drive.
Sunset Drive is a 5 track EP that transports you to this dreamy alternate world where you seem to be floating on air. The nu-wave sound he sculpts is bright, uplifting and incorporates all those cheesy synth sounds from the 80’s, but fear not, CC makes them sound amazin’ in the mix. The ambiance CC creates in his productions is a must listen. Definitely a good soundtrack for the approaching summer.
