Year of the Tiger is a brand spanking new electro-rock band from Brooklyn that you should be aware of. This rad duo consists of Sable Yong and Henry Ivry, best friends since meeting at college. The pair only started recording music together in the winter of ’09, but have passed BBC a 5 track demo that is hard not to listen to.
The music is high energy and can make any walk of life dance. You will find screamin’ guitars, dirty synths, pop love and amazin’ edgy vocals/lyrics courtesy of Ms. Yong. The music is not overly polished, but that is good because it lets you feel the emotion and energy these guys have put into their tracks.
The duo is currently adding a few more songs to their repertoire so that they can start playing shows as well as hitting the studio to record their debut EP. This is one band you must keep an eye out for. #truth

Year of the Tiger – Make It Work
Yea, a fractious dance music for the edgy and young…a little addictive, highly magnetic and leaves u wanting more.
Correction: The lyrics are by Henry Ivry, a triple threat, a phenomenal lyricist/composer/producer on his way up. What a duo!!!
