Two boy, two girl London outfit Scanners have just released their second single, “We Never Close Our Eyes.” The track is of the moody post-punk pop kind and flows from beginning to end. While listening to lead singer Sarah Daly’s voice, (she also plays bass) you will notice this mix of Siouxsie Sioux and Karen-O type of tones which cuts through the smooth rolling bass and delicious power chords like butter.
Look for this track and more on their upcoming sophomore release, Submarine, which they produced with the help of Stephen Hague (New Order) that will drop next week. Also, if your making it to SXSW this year, make sure to check them out. (Tour dates below)
