My rock meter hit 11 this afternoon courtesy of Aussie trio Buick Six who have just released their 2nd EP, Common Arms. Their guitar driven music is heavy, fun, melodic and is sure to rock your socks off. The launch of the EP didn’t come easy as the studio they recorded in was flooded during a freak storm. However, the rising water didn’t stop the band from putting together a 4 track EP that will get any rock and roll enthusiast excited.
Their guitar wall of sound, courtesy of Producer Robbie Carlyon, is jump up and down, get in the pit rock music. Its full of so much energy, distortion and sweet bluesy riffs that drive the melodies in their songs. Think grunge mixed with punk and guitar stylings similar to Jack White. Pure rock. Pure fun
enjoY!
