Joey Avalos and bassist Michael Wittig, who had worked together previously in more hard-rock based outfit, met with vocalist Chris Cleveland in late 2007 and laid the groundwork for what would become the band.
Every song that I have heard from this Tulsa-based pop-rock band has massive radio potential. That is probably because Stars Go Dim boasts two Grammy nominated musicians with musical styles that blend pop, rock and soul with lyrics that have catchy melodies. Like any Pop-rock band they have their anthem songs and ballad songs, but no matter which style you prefer, they manage to craft these melodies that are hard to let go– and hard not to sing.
