Allison Mixology – Peanut Butter and Coffee

My bombshell friend from High School, Allison, who is behind Allison Mixology, is taking the indie punk-rock  scene  one venue at time with here awesome acoustic punk-rock sound.

From Orange County, New York down to Brooklyn and New York City, she was once the singer of She’s Automatic, as well as the front woman of pop punk band, Allison Model One. She dropped her debut 3 Song EP, Heartpumped, in October of ‘09 and is set to release a new one very soon.

Allison has the perfect punk-rock girl sound. This girl can sing, and does it very well. All of her songs are very rich and melodic  and often times venture way up into the pop realm. The amzin’ thing is that she achieves all this with just herself and her guitar.  The other great thing about her songs is that they are real, and that is very evident in her lyrics. She talks about anything from broken hearts and getting drunk to partying it up or just being different. No matter what it is, she lets you into parts of her life, something that has made musicians in the past and will for the future to come.

enjoY!
