Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp are BACK with two highly anticipated new albums this year, Junior (released in March) and Senior (out next month). Following the success of 2005’s The Understanding, which produced such hits as “What Else is There?” and a Geico commercial which featured “Remind Me” off of their 2002 release Melody AM, Junior has delighted fans around the world, taking off right where The Understanding left off in terms of maturity and musical evolution. The smash single “The Girl and The Robot”, featuring Swedish songstress Robyn on vocals, is fantastic. The piece would best do as the main aria in an electronic-futuristic tinged opera. For the classical music lovers who agree, a classical reinterpretation of the song is available on iTunes. LOVE IT!!!
You can download “The Girl and The Robot” on iTunes which features remixes by Jean Elan, Kris Menace, and Spencer & Hill. The listener will not be disappointed.
