The latest single from the dynamic duo of Dutch producer Nicolay and Tar Heel MC Phonte, Foreign Exchange (of the hip hop group Little Brother), leaves the savvy listener wanting for little. “Take of the Blues” is a jazzy exploration of the flight of the birds and the bees; the chance encounter, speedy courting, and the infamous morning after.

Nicolay makes rocking to the beat nearly impossible with the bounce of his kick drum. Phonte’s vocals conjure similar emotions as a young D’Angelo. the combination of the two is sensual and irresistable.
