IDM producer,Tycho, is seeing his debut LP, Past Is Prologue, get a re-issue from Ghostly International. The original, which was released in ’04 on Grammaphone Records, was then expanded and reissued in 2006 on Merck Records. With 4 years gone by, another label has recognized the talent that is Tycho and is going to re-issue his original masterwork, a lush, expansive imaginary landscape of sepia-toned keyboards and warm downtempo beats, that gives a re-introduction to graphic designer/producer Scott Hansen‘s musical universe.
The edition released by Ghostly includes an exclusive remix from Mux Mool who recently dropped his first full-length, Skulltaste, on the same label
Past Is Prologue follows Tycho’s series of singles on Ghostly International and is released in anticipation of the producer’s long-awaited full-length.
