Trim The Fat, AKA Nicky Howard, amazed me with his previous LP, How Strange.  Where How Strange was an Indie/Synth Pop album, this new Ep, Riding Rubix, finds him exploring two totally different sides of electronic music. The first track, “Riding Rails”, is a nice electronica jam that has a loungy, house vibe to it. Definitely very chillaxin and great working music. The other one, “Rubix” is the opposite, an upbeat electro-house tune that will work really, really well on the floor.

Riding Rubix will be released on June 1st on the Type Six Recordings.
