Wales’s 18 year old duo VanGuard have been turning out remixes right and left including ones for Foals, Friendly Fires, Geroge Duke plus more. They have sent us one of their new remixes of the track “Pogo” by Digitalism.
I’d have to say that their music is genre bending– combining elements of house, disco, funk into a cohesive sounds that sticks to you. The one remix that stood out for me was the remix of the Digitalism track Pogo. VanGuard decided to keep the piano part of the original but slowed it down to give it a more ambient, chill, house vibe.
