The Action Painters, a Brooklyn based DIY Indie Rock band, are set to release a new full length album later in the year, but wanted to share some of their talent with you guys a little earlier. So, in the meantime they have released a digital EP entitled Lay That Cable.
With a fresh power-pop sound, Action Painters have catchy guitar licks and synths layered throughout their upbeat melodies. Their choruses are very hooky and I’m sure will get under your skin.
They have sculpted anthems that will get anyone moving, even dancing. Overall, there is a lot of good trax on their roster and am sure will do big things in the near future.
They are playing at the Cake Shop in NYC on April 9th before they embark on a tour across the northeast, mid-atlantic and midwest.
Their EP will drop today on itunes, but they have been so kind to let you [the fans] download a free copy of the EP for a limited time only!!!
Check out the track below. This is some good indie rock that you need to check out
And just for fun, I have attached the trailer for the EP, it is pretty awesome!!!!
Enjoy!
