I never really took the time to listen to Diplo previously, sure i listened to one or two songs, but never really took notice in it, so when i finally sat down and listened to his new album, Decent Work for Decent Pay, i was shocked to find out what i was missing.
His production work is unique, no doubt about that it. It is rough around the edges which i love, and i feel like he captures the true feeling of a song. His use of samples and drums gives his work very upbeat catchy feel to it.
Also his composition and arrangement are excellent –always making it different.
Although there are not many original works on it (mostly remixes) it still lends to good listening, i highly recommend u check it out.
