The 2nd free (of 44 ) track from the new Smashing Pumpkins’ album, Teargarden by Kaleidyscope, “Widow Wake My Mind” has been released for the world to enjoy.

The track, I feel, further moves away from that grungy sound that we all knew them for and puts it on the softer side of the SP world. You can definitely tell that these songs illustrate a more mature Billy Corgan, (see first free track, Song for a Son) from the compositions and melodies, to the instruments, to the guitar sounds he uses–it’s all bringing the SP into a new world sonically. Really digging the piano parts he has used in his new tracks as well as the arrangements. Now I’m even more excited to hear what else hes got coming.
