BBC is naming the top 5 acts to look out for in 2010, and coming in at #4 is Hurts. This slick looking (see picture above) UK duo was on a trip to Italy when they discovered “disco lento” (which is Italian for slow disco) and the rest is history. I Checked out their site was really digging their music. Their first single, “Wonderful Life”, is a throwback to those slow melancholic electro-pop jams from the 80’s full with luscious strings, pads, moving drums and empowering lyrics.
