New York psych-pop outfit, Spires, is excited to announce the release of their debut 7″ and digital single, “Candy Flip/Comic Book” coming out October 8. The band, which began in fall 2012 as 22 year old Matt Stevenson’s home recording project, has quickly grown into a more collaborative effort that includes Jack Collins (Bass), Samuel Shea (guitars, synths), and Ethan Snyder (Drums).
The neo-psychedelic band will be heading into the studio shortly to record more material and a series of shows in NYC/BK coming up. In the meantime, check out “Candy Flip” below.
