Portugal’s  KATFYR just released his new electro tune, “Here We Go,” via SectionZ Records. Featuring his trademark mix of powerful beats, synths, and hooks with recognizable inspiration from vintage video game music, “Here We Go” (which samples heavily from Sonic the Hedgehog), offers a fresh and original sound.

About KATFYR
KATFYR means cat fire and, like a fiery feline, he adds agility to an inextinguishable trace. He’s an apparently discrete DJ and producer but his background is visible from afar, seen at least one million times with his remix of Katy Perry’s hit song “E.T”.

In 2011, KATFYR released “Let It Go” together with Klaypex, the following year remixed Emma Hewitt’s “Rewind” and “Foolish Boy” for Armada Music and now he’s preparing to launch a brand new batch of originals in the EP “Here We Go”, coming soon on SectionZ Records.

He has been found in Tokyo, New York, Paris and Lisbon side by side with Skrillex, Crystal Castles, Tiga, Designer Drugs, Dr. Lektroluv, Mustard Pimp, Major Lazer and Baauer.

Moving easily between drops, he has in bass music his safe haven, but KATFYR doesn’t back away from the influence of other genres morphing into an epic hybrid of the current dance music panorama.

enjoY!
