Damn! That is what I said as soon as I heard the new single, “Hold On” from Norwegian producer and songwriter, Simon Field. Having previously released deep, future and tropical house tracks, he takes this latest record to another level.

It all starts with effortlessly soulful vocals sampled from gospel singer Cleophus Robinson Jr. and is only augmented by the groove which locks in with a little help from some bouncy claps and hate. The track itself has this eerie vibe, but yet is very upbeat and grooving from beginning to end. (Ive already played it 3 times since I started writing this post)

Check out the single below as well as one of the remixes from the single from fellow producer Dunisco. If you dig, which i know you will, you can pick up the single, released via Danis label disco:wax, from your favorite digital retailer.

enjoY!
