We talked about Toronto artist, Khadeem Hamilton –aka K-Ham CA‘s, forthcoming mixtape, Astro Traveling a few months back on the site. We were digging the preview he sent us, so we knew the mixtape would have that same standard. He did not disappoint.
What we are digging about the mixtape is the creativity behind it. It is a mixture of interludes, skits and dope tracks and overall the whole mixtape flows really well from front to back. Another cool thing about this mixtape is that all of it is him, production and rhymes.
When you are not listening to interludes and skits, the production shines through with an equal amount of sampling and originality. You definitely hear his nod to 90’s hiphop sound that just seems to be missing from the hip hop today.
Every single track on the mixtape is dope, but if I had to pick one to start with, it would be “Haven” then the next, “Attack Of The Mi$fits”
