Sunday’s Tunes come for Aminita Satori, an eclectic, driven, and charismatic artist with a truly unique background. Originally from Chicago, Aminita had a  career producing soundtracks on major TV ad campaigns, but this did not fulfill here artistic passions. After a short period of writer’s block, her interest in music was rekindled in early 2011 upon discovering the lecture archives of late philosopher and author, Terence McKenna.

Aminita sent us over some tunes to check out from her latest outing, “Where Language Fails,” and we liked them a lot. Aminita has this beautiful way of blurring the lines between genre definitions and ideas. Her songs contain elements of chillwave, electronica, ambient, and hip hop –There is definitely a forward-thinking vibe with her music.
