Next up is i am Love, a creative fresh acoustic/folk project that uses cello, woodwinds, zither, sax and reverb to create “the archaic sound of the future — did I mention they have crazy mustaches and a horse for a keyboard player?
They sent us over some tunes to check out including “Pillar or Salt” and “Ghost in the Hallway” which will be on their forthcoming release, due out Jan 15, 2015. I have to say that this trio definitely has a fresh sound that I’m digging. A little bit of shoegaze, little bit of folk, little bit of crunch and a whole lot of catchy melodies.
