Today’s tunes comes courtesy of Vancouver rock outfit, Fey. This ‘god damn noisy grunge’ quartet is a culmination of several established Vancouver based bands including Quartered, Champions of the wild and Shiftkit to name a few.
The band has a new album coming up called Bye Bipolar on December 1st. The 7 track album, has a stripped-down, raw, heavy rock sound that reminds you of the good ol’ days of 90s rock, where music wasn’t autotuned, sampled or polished up to be fed to mindless masses.
They sent us over one of the tracks from the album called rent free, and from the first seconds in you know you are getting some intense, energy driven music that will get you pumped up. This is Rock and Roll 101 and I’m diggin’ it.
