Got some new music to share with y’all from Dallas based Zypherman G & He-Gnosis. Part of the Southern Super Friends artist collective, these 2 guys are pushing hip-hop in a totally different and unique direction.
First thing you notice when you listen to their latest project, Etheric Earth, is the production work. There are no generic, boring beats on this release. Forgoing the typical hip-hop beat, these guys really mix it up by using lots of different instruments (including their voices), non-standard drums as well putting a lot of thought into the melodies and arrangement. Another cool thing about these guys is that their voices/flow are so unique, definitely catches your attention.
