We at BBC always love music that is off the beaten path. That’s why it was so refreshing to hear something completely different– Fuse. Composed of Linzi Stoppard and Ben Lee, they make breathtaking electric violin music and are the most popular electric violin groups in the world. Having released their album of pop rock anthems in conjunction with Universal/Edel records in 2009, Fuse has performed internationally throughout Europe, the United States, India and Asia.
Another cool thing about FUSE is that they became the first string group ever to be sponsored by Swarovski Crystal, who made for them the world’s first and only crystal embellished electric violins individually worth over $1.5M. Each violin is adorned with over 50,000 individually hand applied, platinum grade Austrian crystals.
Fuse sent us a video to their song “Gorgeous” to check out (including teh Swarvoski Viloins) and we were really impressed with them. The video really shows the immense talent this duo has. Peep the video below and pick up their music from your favorite digital retailer.
