Chicago band, Yawn, just returned from SXSW where they played with Neon Indian at Levi’s Fader Fort. They used to be called Metrovox, dabbled in the punk/emo scene, but were re-awoken sonically after they made a trip to Germany. Their sound takes tribal-esque rhythms, gorgeous pop melodies and rich vocal lines to create a sound that any fan of Animal Collective or Vampire Weekend will love.
