Gypsy Rebels, Gogol Bordello, are releasing their fifth studio album, Trans-Continental Hustle, on April 27th. Produced by Rick Rubin, the album will be heavily influenced by band leader Eugene Hutz’s experiences while living in Brazil.
The 1st single from the album, “Pala Tute,” encompasses all that is Gogol Bordello. Spontaneous, anthemic, fun, rowdy are just a few adjectives that describe this song. If you have never listened to any Gogol Bordello, you have to just for the experience. If you dig the sound, the band is gearing up to launch an international mini-festival called “The Casa Gogol Tour” which will kick off in Australia on March 28 with North American dates to follow April 18 through May 1.
