This afternoons entertainment comes courtesy of San Francisco group, A B & The Sea.Wisconsin long time friends, Koley O’Brien and Joe Spargur, founded A B & The Sea in ’08 and then decided to pack their bags and move to the Rice-A-Roni capital to pursue their musical endeavors. Their music has been described as The Beach Boys meets the Beatles and that is the truth.
The songs they craft have pop written all over them. The sing-along lyrics are fun (just listen to the sha-la-la’s), the sound is very “surfy” and the vibe screams Cali chill. It’s like, take all the elements of a perfect pop song/sound and you have A B & the Sea.
A B & the Sea are releasing all 5 of their singles for free on their myspace, but only if you spread the word. As more people become aware of these guys they will unlock each new single for free. So, tell your friends, download some free tunes, and listen to what The Beatles might have sounded like if they were from SF, not Liverpool
